Sade Adu will be releasing a new album soon.
This was made known by a member of her band, Stuart Matthewman, who told Rated R&B in an interview that the band is working towards the release of a new body of work.
According to Matthewman, Sade Adu and company have already written “a bunch of songs” for the follow-up to the last album, Soldier of Love, which was released in 2010.
“Sade is not interested in the fame or any of that other stuff, she likes to put out art, so when it’s ready, it will come out”, she stated.
The Nigerian-British singer who is well known for her 1985 classic song, Sweetest Taboo from the album, Promise.
She recently released her first new song in seven years, titled, Flower of the Universe, which featured as a soundtrack for Ava DuVernay’s remake of A Wrinkle in Time.
